Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010 after her hit songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano voice and has a talent to write songs that are emotional with positive lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as artistic independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
