Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and performer well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In the same year, she made her debut album, It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
